お台場
先月（３月）の話ですが、お台場へ行ってきました。
フジテレビ
台場駅前の通り
目前には、ゆりかもめの線路と、線路上を走るモノレールが見える。
この通りをまっすぐ進んでみる。
この通りからは、海とレインボーブリッジが見えて、見晴らしが良い。

アクアシティお台場
この日は、アクアシティお台場で、昼食を食べた。

私は、「ごまだれたんたんめん」を食べた。

お台場からレインボーブリッジの眺め
自由の女神
自由の女神がなぜここに・・・
数年前の話、
パリの自由の女神像が、「日本におけるフランス年」事業の一環として1998年から1999年の２年間、フランスからお台場へやってきたらしい。
その後、女神像はフランスへ帰っていったが、この事業が好評を博したということで、フランス政府からレプリカの制作が認められて、
2000年、ブロンズ製のレプリカがここお台場に設置された。
お台場の女神像は、パリの自由の女神像のレプリカである。

お台場海浜公園から左手に進んでみる。
この辺りは、潮風公園になるのだろう。
コーストデッキ
対岸は、品川埠頭
木造の船発見。
子供たちの遊具となっている。
噴水広場
この辺りは、上空を飛行機がよく飛んでいる。

船が見えてきた。
海王丸
「海王丸」という船の存在は、私、知っていました。
実は、私の地元の富山県には、「海王丸パーク」という港があって、大型帆船「海王丸」がその港に係留されていました。
その帆船・海王丸と、なぜ今ここで出会ったのか？同名の別の船なのか？
このときは、分からなかった。
今、調べてみたけど、どうやら世代違いのようです。
ここにいる海王丸は、「海王丸II世」らしい。
海王丸は、航海練習船の役目を持った大型帆船である。
初代海王丸は、1930年（昭和5年）に進水し、約半世紀にわたり「海の貴婦人」として親しまれる。
その後、1984年（昭和59年）に引退。
引退後は富山新港（伏木富山港）の海王丸パークにて展示公開されることになった。
航海練習船としての役割は、海王丸II世に引き継がれた。
よって、この日出会ったのは、「海王丸II世」であろう。
船の科学館
船の形をした建物です。
この辺りは、船に所縁のある場所です。
