ワールドカップ閉幕

ワールドカップが終わりました。

東京スポーツ 7月10日版より

優勝イタリア
フランス破れる。

今大会、試合の結果予想する事が難しかった。
この決勝戦、フランスが勝つと予想したけど、違った。

ジダンは、決勝戦の延長戦で「頭突き」を相手選手に打ち込んで、退場処分となった。
この結末は、余りにも衝撃的。
この事は、その試合の成り行きに影響を与えたと思うし、彼自身の今後の人生にも影響が及ぶと思う。
世界中の人々が注目する最高の舞台での暴力行為。与える影響は計り知れない。
この試合を最後に、彼は現役を引退する．．．
彼は、良くも悪くも伝説となるでしょう。

イタリア、大会を振り返ってみると、安定した強さがあった。
フランスは、よくよく見直してみると、運に恵まれて勝ち残ってきた所がある。
そう見ると、イタリア優勝という結果は自然な結果なのかもしれない。

この大会一番のナイスキャラは、ガットゥーゾ（イタリア）だったと思う。笑わせてもらった。
リッピ監督に張り手を食らわせるシーンが最高に面白い。
こんなキャラが日本代表にもほしい。

ホスト国ドイツが3位、
オリバー・カーンの人間ドラマ、
カーンはレーマンとの正GKポジション争いに敗れた。
その後、正GKの座を失っても、チームに残りチームのために尽くした。
カーンがチームを激励する献身的な精神から、チームに結束力が生まれた。
（･･･と、あるテレビ番組でそんな話を聞いた）
ドイツは、まとまりのある良いチームだった。
ホスト国ドイツの活躍は、気持ちの良いものだった。

サッカーは人間性を表現する事ができるスポーツ、本当に面白いと思う。
